Rod has lived and worked in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for over 25 years. As your local Area Representative he brings a wide range of skills to support all aspects of your business. His business career spanned various finance and operations roles for Providence based Textron, Inc. over that time including Division President and Chief Credit Officer. He has had extensive experience developing markets, building and managing effective teams, innovation and process improvement.Rod’s received a BS degree from West Virginia University, MBA from University of Pittsburgh and attended Textron sponsored Executive Development Programs with Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania. His professional credentials include Certified Senior Advisor, CPA and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Rod and his wife Mary Anne live in East Greenwich, Rhode Island and have two adult children. Mary Anne is an MSW social worker. She is a member of NASW and is licensed as a LICSW in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She also supports local franchisees in referral marketing, care assessments and professional networking activities.

Local Opportunity

Always Best Care has a number of territories available throughout the territory. A few of the Massachusetts areas still open include Worcester, Cape Cod, Boston South Shore, Plymouth County and Fall River/New Bedford. Rhode Island opportunities include Newport, Providence area and South County.

While single territories covering a population of between 200,000 and 250,000 are readily affordable, an attractive business strategy to grow your business may be through ownership of multiple territories. Owning two or three territories may allow you to achieve economies of scale with one central operation and, depending on geography, a smaller satellite office if necessary.
